Meditation #1 - Counting the Breath

This week's meditation instructions are to simply count the breath. The mental activity of counting anchors the mind to the activity of breathing. Success isn't measured by the ability to get all the way to 10, but rather by the ability to start again, over and over, as many times as it takes. I would rather you stay at the count of 1 mindfully, even if you never move on to 2, than count all the way to ten unmindfully.
